Fotona StarWalker Joins an All-Star Lineup at ASLMS 2018!

On Friday, Apr 13th the ASLMS Women's Health and Feminine Rejuvenation session featured a very strong podium lineup by Fotona with several talks by Dr. Adrian Gaspar and Dr. Jorge Gaviria, followed by Dr. Matjaz Lukac’s lecture in the Basic Science session about TightSculpting® and an innovative new way of monitoring hyperthermic laser lipolysis with 1064 nm Nd:YAG in human subjects.
On Friday evening the Fotona Team also held a clinical workshop in Dr. Doohi Lee’s clinic (Advanced Surgical Arts) in Dallas which produced an excellent turnout. Aside from an introductory lecture by Dr. Lee, the workshop featured a number of live demos (Fotona4D®, Stretch marks, etc.).
Saturday's Women's Health session featured excellent talks by Dr. Nobuo Okui (Japan), Dr. Aristides A. Huacuja (Mexico) and Zdenko Vizintin (Fotona), and on Sunday, Dr. Jong Gu Kim held a fascinating lecture about intra-ocular Smooth Er:YAG treatment for lower eye lids during the prime term and at the plenary session. His presentation raised significant interest and elicited many questions from the audience.
There were also daily lectures at the booth with Dr. Mark Taylor (StarWalker), Dr. Jorge Gaviria (Dynamis aesthetics) and Dr. Adrian Gaspar (Gyno). The booth was styled with a "Star Wars" theme and included photo ops with costumed movie heroes and free light sabers as give away souvenirs, which attracted many visitors.
Dallas, Texas also happens to be the home town of the US division of Fotona (Fotona LLC), which is why we have begun to organize a separate US edition of the Laser & Health Academy Symposium in Dallas (under the name "Super Symposium"). The first Dallas Super Symposium was held in September 2017 and gathered more than 200 people. The next meeting is scheduled for September 6th – 9th, 2018 and you are cordially invited!
